do i detect a little hint that you dont like re0 :P yeah im looking forward to RE4 aswell, ive played the jap RE Outbreak and to be fair its not that bad, altho it being japanese doesnt give u the best start as theres new functions and such to figure out but it should take long to get it sorted what does what, ive not played RE Outbreak multiplayer yet but i did enjoy the single player, although its more like the movie then the games as it is more action over storyline, but the storylines pretty straight forward and we all know it by now, "raccoon city gets infested with t/g virus by rats this is the outbreak get the hell out of there"

 Are you ready for some more resident bashing ?

Bought Resident : Outbreak yesterday.....Yes it finally came out in PAL territory .....without online mode....

And my god what remains is a :censor: catastrophe......

I'll refrain from final judgement here and now......

But here's my played-it-2hours-preview then:

There's no built up - story arc inconsistancies - :censor: awfull graphics...Also , there is a 60 hz mode but if you hook it up on a older telly that doen't have that ,you've got black borders the size of the berlin wall.....and wrong AR as a bonus.....
Animation sucks....THE BOTS ARE just HIDEOUSLY bad.....steering them thru (obviously obsolete now) verbal communication is a nightmare...puzzles are sometimes void of logic....bash bash....

gotta save some for later.....but ressie is really sinking fast in respect over here......

u see thats why im not gonna bother with teh pal version, i have the american version with teh online and lan mode, the actual selling point, altho theyve announced pal will have online/lan mode in otbreak 2 (theyre really milking raccoon city for all its worth)

yes i agree the bots are terrible thats why i dont givbe them anything decent

yes the stages thing is a bit naff but i dont care, the outbreak one is good, teh hospital one is insane with the black monsters following you but the 2nd stage ones a bit wank

but then again re4 is out soon next year for gc :D

last few games vie been playing, Manhunt (pc - finally got round to it), burnout 3 (ps2 - i LOVE this series), rise of nations (pc - never leaves my pc and is excellent)

personally, manhunt was boring as anything, burnout is ok but very shortterm, and not bothered with rise of nations

Outbreak reviews are mediocre, don't think I'll ever bother playing on that.

Haven't played anything for ages, but downloading Galatic Battlegrounds now, hoping its as cool as it sounds. Battlefield 1942, but with stormtroopers

im downloading galactic battlegrounds aswell, i do agree with u about manhunt, the thrill soon wears off as the game is very samey pretty much all the way through

but burnout is one of the best racing games out there and i truely despise all racing games so u know how good i think burnout is

if you dont like rise of nations then well pretty much your loss

I don't particularly like racing games at all, driving games are much better. Like GTA3, Carmageddon.... burnout was good I mean, but its not that good I didn't think. ;)

Last game I've played was Dark Fall. Pretty spooky. I need to finish it actually.

yes, gungans, tuskan raiders and ewoks are NPCs, but they fight. Gungans are on the side of the good guys, ditto ewoks, tuskan raiders are a third party and attack anyone who goes near them :)
