Sounds like a Flash Gordon style cheese fest

necromongers, lord marshall, furians, new mecca: my review in the Chronnicles thread actually lists all of the silly names when they were still fresh in my head.

To be honest I think he is really capable of a whole lot more as a comic actor, is a very energetic comedian so could do some really great slapstick if he put his mind to it. Truman Show is his best, best comedy.... dunno really.

I agree completely. With such a WEEK subject, bad trailer, noname actors, and a lame extended title like :matrix: 'The Hunt for the Blood Orchid', you knew it was gonna be crap.

I'm not sure how they advertised that over there, but in the US (it's still a coming attraction), they're advertising it as a romantic comedy from the people who brought you notting hill and something else I can't remember.

erm wtf, thats the gayest thing ive ever heard in my life, for a start it isnt made by them, its essentially simon pegg's own project, here it was advertised (by him) as a romcomzom aka a romantic comedy with zombies, and it features most of simon pegg's comedy buddies from spaced & black books (which he himself isnt actually in) altho they forgot to put bill bailey and the actor Kevin Eldon in which is a shame

u sure you haven't got it mixed up dinky? The tagline is
A romantic comedy....with zombies

If you weren't paying attention you won't have got the last part. I don't think anyone involved in Notting Hill was involved with the project so I'm thinking you've totally spaced on the advertising

hehe romantic comedy with zombies...romantic comedy. push

did some looking into it. it's a working title production. four weddings and a funeral, notting hill (and I think love actually) are all mentioned in the US preview. "from the people who brought you..." was the gist of the tag. anyway, after struggling in vain with the working title flash web site, I can't even connect a shared producer between the four flicks (they only list one exec).

anyway...just saw Love Actually. one or two good stories (out of 5 or 7). completely disposable, but you could have figured that out from the imdb sheet. anyway, some very nice looking females.
