The Village => Not worth seeing if you think it MIGHT even TRY to be scary. Once again. Image Sham screws up a possibly great flick into crap. Oh yeah, & anyone else sick of these writer/director/producer/in their movie fucks? Image Friggin' Tarintino syndrome.

Sixth Sense: 7
Unbreakable: 7.5/8
Signs: 5
Village: 2 - it really is bad. I mean, you have to put up with A LOT of terrible dialogue and asinine plot devices before even getting to the "heart" of the movie, and that heart, including the obligatory revelation, is more stupid than unexpected. although it does explain - not justify, mind you - the atrocious dialogue.

6th Sense: 8/8.5
Unbreakable: 6/6.5
Signs: 6
The Village: 2.5 (was around a 4/5 early on)
Really only 4 good things in this movie: Wil Hurt, Sig Weaver, the Red Cloaked Monster, and Bryce Dallas Howard (what a cutie).

Also rewatched I Robot. Convinced my roomie to go who didn't want to, who enjoyed it.

Babylon 5: In the Begining... damn I was hoping it was about Valin :(

never mind, seemed like an ordinary episode of B5 to be honest. Watched Series 4 and yes, its really rushed which is a crying shame. Series 5 is a bit... well its erm... ongoing.

Watched Ghostwatch before in the begining, I actaully thought it was well done... the presenters, especially craig charles were all good with the material, everyone else besides that pscyhitrist that Craig Charles talked to were shockingly terrible actors, but when all hell breaked loose I thought it was very well made. I liked the way Dr. Pipes was ignored by the studio when he obviously was in frame. Well worth a watch imo.

maybe. I like comics, so I'm not entirely subjective with unbreakable being better, but 6th sense was a movie. it didn't need the bruce-is-already-dead hook to make it a movie. village is just terrible. go in expecting it to be terrible and you might</i> not be disappointed.

I kinda think of 6th sense like the matrix. yeah, they both got blown out of proportion, but they were solid movies even though not great.
:argue:

I have this one friend who loved Identity, highly recommended it to me. "it really keeps you guessing. blah blah blah." OK. so I check it out. what's the point of this movie? to keep you guessing? I don't give a :censor: whether I know who the villain is or not (who didn't see VIKKI coming in I, Robot?), it's how you get there. I wanted to smack her for making that into a compliment.

i liked unbreakable it was kind of different, just a shame i cant stand sam l jackson

personally i watched identity and thouroughly enjoyed it, it did keep you guessing most of the way through and dinky what exactly is the point in a thriller if you already know who dunnit you tool  that would be like watching the football or whatever and already knowing whose gonna win, its rare these days to find a film that doesnt actually give it away like some eager haddock 10 minutes into the film

and dinky dont get me wrong it isnt just the bruce is dead angle that makes 6th sense crap its the slowness of it, the crappy dialogue, the boring story and that bloody osmont kid

a fair point, but once you know who did it, there's no reason to watch again. not the mark of a very good movie, imo. of course, maybe you enjoy watching it again. I don't. now I can watch usual suspects again. that's a mystery. but I can go back and enjoy it with the foreknowledge of whodunit. and quite frankly, even I, Robit, which is no Usual Suspects, is something that I can go back and watch even though the center of the plot is a murder mystery, and I know 'whodunit'. that was the gist of my complaint about identity.

so I shouldn't bother?

Harold and Kumar. I laughed when I was supposed to. that's a plus, i guess. more of the same stuff from the previews. Manchurian is for the morrow.

Harold and Kumar was okay kinda predictable and it was a bit like work for me to get through but i made it.
the clearing was okay kinda got into it kinda was bored by it.
metallica skom was a good doc but it just reiterates imho the fact that they r now a bunch of pussies who no longer enjoy making metal fuck em.
super size me and outfoxed were both *very* interesting docs but the guy in ssm seemed to be embellishing a bit too much , still worth seeing tho imo.
Napolian Dynamite was funny as hell  i really need a better copy...a little too much of the bottem is cropped on VideoCD cam but its still watchable.
atlantis 4x05 was kind of a let down bad ep imo very lo-budget:(
ginger snaps back was okay but i still like the 2nd one the best sofar
tried to watch a dubbed copy of whore in mute but it kinda sucked FFed instead, i wasnt expecting the doc format i guess....NO NUDITY FROM Denise Richards Fher!
watched the immortel and not another teen movie again :D everytime i see NATM i get another joke i missed the time b4.
also watched pink velvet for the third time  the GREAT FLICK it is

still waiting on the spikelee joint , village an saved...

/edit
tring to kill this
Never seems to die tho :o
&
i think if i was a brit & or on yr little island i might try an kick her a few bucks for a hummer.
