iunno about that. there are quite a few scenes that are fun with a different understanding. heck, even the CEO of USR in I, Robot is interesting to see through the eyes of a spectator who knows he's innocent from the start. one thing that never made sense to me though: why telephones? and why only lan lines? it's all fake. the lan line ain't anymore real than the air program or the bird program or whatever. so why telephones? furthermore, if that's really the case, and no one is really</i> bound to the matrix (of those who hack in), then shouldn't they all</i> be Neos? hmm. this calls for....

I couldn't get over the fact that just over the first half of the film is intolerably, mind numbingly crap, dull and utterly boring. The only thing matrix had going for it was the action sequences, and they messed them up mostly in the sequels. Fast forward/chapter skip to the end and matrix is alright :)

The only highlight is that you can hear rob zombie for about 2 seconds in the club

I try not to make sense of the matrix, they quite clearly no f*ckall about computers and its all a really dumb (retarded?) interpretation... hell look at the sequels, 'its a backdoor' oh it really is a backdoor, isn't that clever  or "he's a keymaker"... oh, cool where's Zuul?

The simple fact of the matter is, if they could use any phone, then they would have had to fall back on an intelligent script and likeable characters, instead you get the mad dash for the phone and the onle decent part of the films.

Why don't they just get Defiance or another release group to make a trainer for the matrix?

Incidently, the director of I, Robot has a really good track record imo. The Crow, Dark City and I, Robot are all, really good films (and the only ones I've seen).... has anyone seen any of his other movies?

c''mmon man. it was an OK movie. it wasn't BAD. but I wouldn't put it in the same breath with Dark City and I, Robot. It had flashes of brilliance...kinda like a tease of a "really good" movie.

about Proyas...I liked the metroid prime commercial: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0319854/ :P

I have to say, it's kinda cool to see SL make cameos. But the one in S-M2 was just retarded.

[cut]
Stan: Look out! (shoves lady)
[cut]
Stan running
[cut]

All in about 2 seconds if that.

He gets two mates, when Peter Parker is doing that slow motion strut (ie. falls over and puts his glasses on), you can see Stan do this kind of 'old man run' across the background.

Bruce Campbell gets the best cameos

Stan Lee has an extended cameo or minor part in Mallrats. that's the title of an episode of Spider-man that he uses to explain the meaning of life to the movie's protagonist.

you would have thought they learnt after the trainwrecks that were well the rest of the franchise

Homer: Stealing?! How could you?! Haven't you learned anything from that guy who gives sermons at church? Captain What's-his-name? We live in a society of laws. Why do you think I took you to all those Police Academy movies? For fun? Well, I didn't hear anybody laughing, did you?

LotR - Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition => Good, but too long.
LotR - The Two Towers Extended Edition (1st half) => Good so far, too long.

Bourne Supremacy => Some really good visuals & filming, except the fight scenes where the camera man barely tries to keep them in the scene. Made me wanna puke, almost.

sCatWoman => Well, this title just about says it all. Only reason anyone would even possibly enjoy this one, was if they were depraved enough to watch it just to see HB in leather. Max??? I really hated how she looked as though she was airbrushed/painted w/ coppper. Much like the dead chick in the James Bond flick, 'The Man with the Golden Gun'. Best part was the cat w/ the CG head!
