Onto series 3, which should come through the post hopefully by next week. The finale was a goody!

I'm very impressed with the character turn around, the way from the begining it seems like the narn's are the red eyed, evil violent, racist sons of bitches and its the other way round.

Season 3 is prob the best of the entire show.... aparently every single episode of season 3 was written by the same writtor (that producer guy at the end of the credits) so the shows story didn't get lost... and it really shows.

Do not get me wrong a lot of good stuff is comign in 4 and some of 5 but seaons 3 is way cool. Unfortunatly the show was so close to cancelation at season 3 that they didn't think there would be a season 4 let alone 5, so they condenced the entire show into season3.....

Then in season 4 adn 5, they sorta "went back" and finnished off the arcs that they left in limbo.... so when you watch 4 and 5 , try to imagin those events happening at the SAME time as season 3.

great, whilst its nice to have little side plots, they seem to piss me off a lot.

With farscape, the story, nearing the end of series one, totally shifts and then the show takes off and is one of the reasons I liked it. At the end of series 4 it was all 'on topic' as it were :) I liked that in shows, just piling the shit on until it explodes in the best (which is normally worst from the character's standpoint) possible way.

Build up the pressure until ka-boom :)

I think I can summarize babylon 5's season 3 and 4 up beautifully

Season 3 is like........comming and heading towards a delicious orgasm....

 Then comes season 4

that sucks, I reckon with a clever writer, the bablyon5 concept has infinite possibilities. I'll reserve judgement till I've seen em all, but it could easily be re-launched, then again, it seems to have gotten a f*cked up deal by the studios

Yup. When it comes to story vs making money, story always looses. That's the fucked up industry of entertainment. Bunch of people more worried about their wallets first, then quality second.

Just to correct Jynks, only season 4 was condensed. Season 3 was done as was intended, but 4 contained all the important stuff that had been planned for 4 and also 5.
On a side note, the very last episode of season 5 was actually shot at the end of season 4 since they thought that the story was going to end there. When they got confirmation of a fifth season, they wrote a new episode to end the season with and kept the 'original' ending for the end of season 5.

I want to know if G'Kar gets to deck Londo, or if Dr. Richard Kimble will get him first
