on a sidenote tho, i really do love *this* forum, too. been looking for a sci fi community for a long time, as i am a big fan of classic SF set design & storytelling.
one day then, spud's sig on FHN pointed me here. yay!
keep it up!!

Sorry, we are having all sorts of problems with the database at the moment. :(
We've tried restoring a backup, but problems still remain. We're trying to sort them out, but I can't give you any sort of timeframe for when FH will be back up.

thanks for the nfo, kemlo & good luck! pressing both thumbs here that you'll overcome the problems. the sql error message really did look ugly..

certainly not the most endearing activity at the weekend, to debug a database-- but then, hows the weather in scotland? :beerchug:

/me suspects php problem.

Looking at the DB it seems fine, REPAIR TABLE php_posts_text (where the problem seems to be) changes nothing.

My paysite (none-of-your-damn-business-wich-one :P ) feverishly requested I disable ALL active-x stuff in IE until this storm blows over..
