Plot: Peaceful, rustic Berkeley is a charming fishing community where life is sweet and the people friendly. All that is about to change. After losing her childhood farm to the bank, local beauty Rene decides to leave town and head for the big city. Suddenly, an avalanche of meteorites races through the sky, bombarding the town and bringing an otherworldly infection. Departing is going to be much more difficult than she had planned. The living dead are awakened and Rene is now caught in a nightmare of zombies hungry for human flesh. She manages to find salvation in a small isolated farm house owned by the town loony, Marion. There she is met with four other desperate survivors. Together they battle their way through a plague of walking dead and discover that there is more transpiring than just an infection.

this films cool, ill give the aussies this, they know how to make great scifi/horror movies, almost well enough to forgive them for neighbours and home & away

Good film, but the actor pictured on the cover was terrible!

I can only surmise he was a friend or relation of the writer or director, I can't imagine anyone would cast him for the role.

really?...i thought he was OK in the part ....the male copper annoyed the shit outta me but i guess that was his job in the movie

Can't say I enjoyed the flick. Kinda annoying and stupid. And they seemed to have a decent budget, but boy, was the movie hard to stomach -- so many stupid and annoying characters.

This is actually how the dvd looks like (screen is from rip, but looks exact the same), tried to find a different dvd source but all had the same problems. tooooo many extra's.
