Well my monitor burned down last week

borrowed a 17" Sony Trinitron monitor for the time being.

I ordered a silver Philips 19" TFT

I measured the sony, the glass is from corner to corner 15.9" and the image is 15.6"
talking about getting screwed 1.4"

The 19" TFT, will it have true 19" or will it be like 18" or 17.8" ?

how big is yours? :D

TFT measurements are usually true screen size, unlike CRTs.

Mine is an LG Flatron 1710. 8)

TFTs are always (or I have never not seen one that) measured to the correct size.

Mine's 20.1" and although its advertised as 20", the tech specs mentioned it was 20.1" exactly, so the specs were very accurate.

So does that mean there's something wrong w/ me having 2@17", 3@15", & 1@14"? Heh heh heh. No not all used by 1 computer. I usually have 2-3 comps running at a time.
