watching Wonder Woman 2009 now (DC Animated), made before green lantern first flight, could only find it in 720, but that's better then a dvdrip heh, the next DC Animated movie is meant to be another Justice League one, so should be good, looking forward to it, also there are rumours of a green arrow movie, so that might be good too

I prefer 720p in h264. partly cuz my comp just can't deal with the 1080p. but the file size vs. quality fits my tastes too. besides, I can't share 1080p at all. :(

newsgroups mean no sharing, so it works for me because i hate people lol, that's not true, im helping enterlexx share walker texas ranger season 3.

See my pc can handle 1080, but also i can put them on a usb drive and play them through my ps3 (so i hear i havent tried yet)

plus im a bitch for quality, if i have 720 ill replace it with 1080, if the only thing i can get of something is a vhs cap ill take it in the hope one day to replace

latest TRUE BLOOD and ENTOURAGE. enjoyed the latter. the former was too much filler. preamble to the finale in two weeks.

you know, you *could* just say 1080p like a normal person. or 1080p recode. they're the opposite of untouched.

the WEEDS season finale was good.

hmm. I didn't realize there was an HD DVD version. doesn't matter. BD was one of the cheapest BDs available early anyway. still...i thought I'd exhausted all the HD DVD library before moving onto BD.

been watching FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD slowly over the past few weeks. I'm up to ep 8 or 9. thus far, it's extremely close to the first series with better video quality (HD), but it's less refined in other areas. for example, the first ep of the earlier series began in Lior, which was a vastly superior introduction than the more linear version in BROTHERHOOD (and the manga, I suppose). the opening theme is better in BROTHERHOOD though. there's this one part of the song where you can actually feel the desperation of the brothers. so kudos there. all in all, though, I'd have to say that I'd have to say that the first series was more mature in a craft sense rather than the infantile-mature poles that I've read in most other discussions of the two series.

i watched terminator 3 (bluray 1080p mkv) after watching 1 and 2 (i mean you have to) it was meh, to be honest it felt meh, Kristana Loken didn't seem as sexy as i thought she was the first time

I also watched over the top (720p), your pretty limited with the amount of ways you can make a movie about a professional arm wrestling tournament and make it fun, though it actually was quite fun, probably because you get a sense everyone involved realised what a ludicrous idea it was and just hammed it up.

Also rambo 1-4, having never actually getting round to ever watching a rambo film in its entirity, though i have seen the end to III many times, first blood part 1 (rambo 1) was a fun film and more in line with the book, but while rambo 2 and 3 were still an enjoyable way to pass the time, they just felt like an extended a-team/macgyver episode (except with people actually dying ), Rambo 4 (the latest) is really pretty bad, the gore was more funny and over the top (no lame pun intended) then serious and gritty, even worse is the plot outline for rambo 5: the savage hunt coming in 2011, verified by stallone himself

Sly Stallone wrote:John Rambo could track anyone - or anything - on earth. Now the military desperately needs him for a mission that his ultrasensitive instincts tell him he should refuse. A beast is loose somewhere north of the Artic Circle. It has already decimated a secret research facility and annihilated a squad of elite military guards. And the raging creature is headed south toward civilization, ready to wreak bloody devastation.

It's a job that Rambo and his 22-year-old hunting partner, Beau Brady, can't turn down, but they and a team of highly-skilled special forces kill team discover that the prey is a terror beyond their wildest imagination - a half-human abomination created by a renegade agency through a series of outlawed genetic experiments. It has man's cunning, a predator's savageness, and a prehistoric power that has transcended the ages. And even if Rambo and Beau survive its unrelenting hunger for human blood, they'll still have to confront the grim reality that it may have grown immortal.

i mean that's like a rip off of... the thing, alien vs predator, predator, and a million other movies out there, and is as far removed from the core idea that rambo is about., apparently Sly said the rumours about the new rambo film being about rambo travelling to mexico and fighting human trafickers and drug lords to rescue a young kidnapped girl are false, maybe he doesnt wanna get swineflu or something so hes decided a super killing machine in the arctic circle is a safer bet :wacky:

Last night i watched Miss March, other then a bit of sexy lady moments its pretty much forgettable
