it's a word meaning broken into, in the sense a theif would break into your house and steal things, you were burgled.

Dinky, erm, they use the word burgled in every english speaking country in the world.

Case and point, there's an episode of the simpsons about a Cat Burglar, i'm pretty sure that word is used a kabillion times in that episode.

Or maybe since you are an american, if I make a cheese burger reference you might get it... McDonald's -> "hamburglar":

I've never seen it used as a verb even though the substantive (obviously) came from the verb at some point. rhetorical question, btw. :P

GUNSLINGER GIRL S2. decent. most of the series is backfill to give character depth. there's not a lot about it that looks forward or to the present though. I mean...there isn't anything epic anyway. it's a weird blend...something of an oxymoron: a synthetic character study. as in the girls are synthetic (ala terminators - they're technically cyborgs) but the series focuses on their relationships with their handlers. problem is: they're basically slates with any degree of "conditioning" that their handlers request (actually more like robocop in that sense). so they more or less reflect the eccentricities and scars of their handlers. that also means the interactions between girl and handler is bigtime artificial. he might as well be conversing with his image in a mirror on the wall. I'm puzzling over this because it seems an odd choice to go in that direction with this particular premise.

with a title like that, i'd guess anime?

Watched Der rote Baron (2008) last night, the one with terminator woman in it. No english subtitles or anything, but as i know a fair bit about that era and the people it was about i knew most of what was going on. Good film let down by a severe lack of actual air combat sequences, though the couple they do have are excellent, got The Blue Max (1966) to watch tonight, another WW1 air combat film this time starring george "hannibal" peppard, and i have been informed by a friend this is virtually nothing but great air combat sequences with WW1 flying machines. But in the words of the red baron in blackadder, "sorry chaps i must... Fly!!!"

yesh. I don't have the time/patience to watch movies atm. been deleting them like mad from my dvr to make room for BIG CAT DIARY eps.

not really a time thing (although I have a lot less of it now). just can't get in the mood to focus on a movie. will prolly break the fast for a HARRY POTTER 6 matinee at some point though. :?
