Code Name: Eternity (TV Show)

Could someone please re-share the following six episodes of the show Code Name: Eternity? I've been trying to download them for about two months now and have been stuck at 70-90% on all of them for at least 3-4 weeks now. There are 5-6 others trying to download these episodes and none of them have had any new parts in weeks either.

There's only one complete source and he seems to be playing games. He shows up, stays online for a few hours and then disappears before any of us can download any of these files. Then he comes back a couple hours later and the cycle starts all over again.

Just a bump to ask if you ever checked on Code Name: Eternity? The only complete source seems to have disappeared completely.

It might be a little bit slow, since I cant devote the whole bandwidth, as well as I''m sitting behind an anonymous proxy.
I might be offline from time to time, when I need the bandwidth for other things (kids complaining)

Downloading two versions of ep26, will see if it works

I already have episode 26 and it's on share if you need/want it.

The only episodes that I don't have complete copies of yet are 5, 6, 10, 21, 23 & 25. All the rest are complete and on share. It's just these six that I've been stuck on.

I'm sure it will be better than the other source who hasn't shown up in over 24 hours now.

If you don't mind me asking, what server(s) do you normally connect to? I want to make sure that my eMule can find yours when you're online and I know some people sometimes have much larger server lists than I do.

No problem. You've been showing up just fine and I usually have a low queue ranking, so it doesn't take too long before I download. In fact, I'm downloading from you right now. I've been getting a few parts here and there from the other sources too, so they're downloading from you as well.

I'm not in a rush, it's just that the other source was virtually impossible to download from. Slow downloads are one thing, but two months with no new parts between any of the sources is pretty bad. At that rate, it would take literally years to finish these files!

He hasn't even shown up in the last few days. I sent him two polite private messages in the ShareTheFiles forum explaining how he was the only complete source and that nobody had been able to download from him in a month or two. I then asked that if he couldn't stay online longer, would he consider giving me a friend slot just until I finished the files so that I could then become a full source for the others. He never replied to either message. Now he seems to have disappeared, which probably means he unshared the files.

I don't understand why people are like that...

No problem, things are going just fine. Two of the files (10 & 25) have finished, three of the others are between 93-97% and the one at 83% just finished downloading another chunk. At this rate, they should be finished in a few days.

Never understood this about "friends-slot", probably because I switched from "edonkey hybrid" to "emule" a week ago or so.

I've never used "friends" myself, but as I understand it, you have to make someone a "friend" first, then you can give one friend a "friend slot" which will last for that session only and which will allow that person to bypass the queue and immediately start downloading. Other than that, making someone a friend just seems to remember their IP address so that you can send them a message without them being connected to you. Normally, they have to be connected so that you can right-click and select Send Message.

I've only ever asked two sources for a friend slot, this one and a few months ago when I was trying to download an older SciFi movie and it was taking forever. Neither acknowledged me. In fact, I've only ever found one user who would reply to messages at all (in eMule). Most just ignore them. Myself, I'll usually answer them if I can, although I don't always notice when I receive a message and by the time I reply, the user is offline.

They finished earlier today, but I waited until I had a chance to burn the files to DVD as a backup before coming here.

I'm very grateful to you for resharing them. Despite your comments that you couldn't upload that fast and that you'd have to go offline occasionally, you were a great source. I downloaded from you almost every time you appeared, as did others (an asusmption based on the fact that they suddenly had parts to share). Once you shared those files, I never had any doubts that the files would finish. In six days, you did what the other source failed to do in two months.

If you'd like to remove the episodes now, you can. I have all 26 episodes shared and will leave them up for some time.
