watch the movie. it's surreal. she's dressed, filmed, and acts like an anime character. it's uncanny and appreciably more disturbing than watching the animated movies of a 14 year old running around saving the world and flashing some leg. iunno. I don't mean to be on a crusade or anything. but I'd be lying if I didn't objectify her. I'm thinking about series like TWELVE KINGDOMS or BLOOD+ where the hero is this cute, young school girl thrust into fantastical situations and has to save this (or another) world. the same basic plot strokes as BtVS. I guess HEROES did the same with the cheerleader. Except Dakota Fanning looks a lot younger so the difference is magnified.

I guess the entire movie was filmed in Hong Kong. so that's a bit of a switch. good for them though.

@ dinky

watched last nights Smallville, frankly now after that episode, there is no reason why Clark can't start flying and really becoming Superman, there's nothing holding him back, i'm sure you will agree

I don't care about SMALLVILLE anymore. I haven't for a while. I still watch it...out of habit, I guess. but I'm not playing their game anymore. fly. don't fly. it's still retarded. the show should have gone off the air 3 seasons ago. At least GOSSIP GIRLS doesn't hide what it is.

just got back from HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU. short review: it's a chick flick. it's a watchable chick flick. but it's a chick flick. nothing in your life will change in the least by watching this movie. skip it.

i partly agree with the way you feel about smallville, but i've put 8? years into watching it, so if i don't watch it to the end it'll feel like i've wasted those 8 years, i mean it ends this seaon doesn't it? which is about 8 or 10 eps time
