Try telling someone about it next time ;) I haven't received any e-mails, pms, post in help about any problems with the site, until I do and I know that everything is fine, then I assume that everything is tickerty boo.

PHPBB sends out one e-mail per topic, for each time one or new post is made, since your last visit. You do not receive an email per reply, it doesn't/has never worked like that. Incidently, the settings haven't been changed... ever, you receive, one e-mail per topic, depending on whether replies were made since your last visit. It has always been like that and is the same on everysite that uses phpbb, vBB and invision and I assume that is what its doing? So if you receive emails (which you say you do), then its working :)

I personally thing this email notification is crap  and pretty pointless. I tend to read/scan through every forum and then read or mark forum as read, so don't use it. Why not add the topic to your favourites list, and then set it as your homepage or something?

also spud i think u just have ur gamma up way too high because black is meant to be black not grey, and if i turn brightness up anymore it looks grey, as it does on every computer at college and at 3 different friends houses, and one of them has a very good monitor, soo id say its not basslines monitor or anyone elses

You think I'd spend shit loads on a monitor and not have it setup *perfect*? ;) It is as near to perfect as humanly possible. All the settings are setup properally... if you can't see stuff, download Adobe gamma setting or something and sort it out :) However, I have run every setup tool, including the software that came with my monitor (expensive TFT :) ). Sometimes blacks look grey on TFTs, they do not on this one :)

My second monitor, a CRT, sounds to be like basslines, incredibly dark... that however, is that monitor's fault, it is too dark. Desktop settings are setup to a tad extrabrightness and then you dark the monitor to get the image brightness spot on to get it homed in on the right settings. I've found that the THX setup, like the one on Evil Dead are great for getting your monitor setup correctly. It's on lots of the expensive THX discs, ie star wars :)

Anyway, looks like Supernova.

My email notifications work fine through HotMail. You only get 1 since your last using a thread. So you won't get 1 per response or a MSG telling you how many have been since you last used a thread.

Never seen Xtro. To me he looks more like Scott Bakula (aka Sam Beckett, Quantum Leap or Capt. Archer from Craperprise).
