Plot Summary: This action-packed sci-fi thriller sends Hollywood favorites Dean Cain ("Rat Race", "Firetrap", "TV's Superman") and Thomas Ian Griffith ("XXX", "Time Cop 2", "Avalanche") into a do-or-die battle for survival as mankind faces a showdown with its own worst enemy! On a distant planet, two human colonies were founded as a civilized outpost far removed from the devastating wars of Earth. But it was a dream that didn't last long. Locked in a brutal hundred-year war, the colonies now battle each other amidst the rubble of their once-great cities! With only remnants of their immense technologies and their vast armies reduced to a few, a group of brave soldiers decides it's time to step up and end the fighting before both sides are pushed into extinction!

It sounds like Blockbuster in the UK censors movies. I have never come across a film yet rented from Blockbuster that has been edited or cut down. My local store almost always has the unrated versions of new and old films.

No, that's blockbuster US and as far as I can tell not the uk. They are a mormon company and they actively censor a lot of titles, and are very heavily criticised, along with walmart for holding too much sway in terms of censorship.

The have been known to censor unrated versions, they actually do the editing themselves so they are taking the retail and butchering it ;)

If you are into extreme cinema, you want to be very careful with blockbuster rentals as you might not be getting what you think you are :(

Blockbuster, DO NOT, nor do any other retail chain (in the US) censor movies. This is a myth. I used to work for Paramount. I can tell you that if a chain in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM changed a film from the way they got it from the distributor, they would have a lawsuit so fast it would make your head spin. This is just not true. A retailer CANNOT edit a film themselves, legally.

This is not to say that the studio, through the distributor, didn't release multiple versions of a film - one rated R, one unrated, etc, and blockbuster chose to stock the R rated film (which will be clearly marked as rated R on the box). But they absolutely no control over the content of the film - they can either stock it, or not, but they can never change it.
