IMDb

An impromptu goodbye party for Professor John Oldman becomes a mysterious interrogation after the retiring scholar reveals to his colleagues he is an immortal who has walked the earth for 14,000 years. Acclaimed Sci-Fi writer Jerome Bixby conceived this story back in the early 1960's. It would come to be his last great work, finally completing it on his deathbed in April of 1998.

NOTE: I'm not sure what the "previous release", as DOMiNO so nicely puts it, is. However, there's also a 2-CD-TLF-version.
If somebody here prefers a 2-CD-AC3-release, grab this, as it's very fast, and the reason for the nuke is bull anyway. I guess the
TLF version is not the nuked one, though, as the CBR-rule, AFAIK, only applies to 700-MB-MP3-rips.

Previous release nuked for cbr.audio.

 First there were nukes cuz of VBR and poor audio sync now there are nukes for CBR audio. Trust me the "previous release" is good enough in quality as the original source isn't all that good anyhow. It's a low budget movie with no action at all and shot with rather cheap digital camera (there are quite obvious scenes with ISO levels set too high and the picture is grainy with random noise cuz of that). Not that it matters tho, it's more of a "sit and listen to" than "pause and zoom on the boobs" type of movie. ;)

i enjoyed this film much. It did make me cry a little, but mostly wonder. I think I would have preferred to have had it as an audio book though and listened to it in bed.
