/me kicks dinky into a pit full of Persians
THIS IS PRETENTIOUS!!!!!
Anyway, there were millions of applicants to go see the game that was played at Wembley despite the teams being padded poofs (padding that causes more harm than good as you'll know, but we've covered all this before), that's more than the capacity of Wembley and its not like you can't catch games if you have sky or are around on one of the late night occasions when four or five are showing a game. However, Phil Collins also can sell out Wembley so take that with a grain of salt. Its just not even a third world like class of sport in the uk; I'd hazard a bit it fits below: football, rugby league, rugby union, cricket, snooker, darts, curling, bowling, athletics, horse racing, greyhounds, etc. in terms of popularity (and half of them aren't even sports
), I could check the statistics at work though because that will tell you exactly how much people do or do not give a shit about american football in the uk. I know people that watch it, but in fairness, they like a lot of sports and one of them stayed in the states for 3 years.
