do you know if these releases have subtitles? I have grabbed a nice 2 cd version with no subs so when they speak that "alien" language nothing shows up.

I grabbed off a subtitle site the english subrips of the entire movie but I am looking for the subtitles for just the alien speak.

Anyone have a copy of that...

Very good point, I noticed that and is quite annoying when watching with others, but luckily i know what is being said.

This actual release has the Alien subs hardcoded into it ... as with the original movie not ALL the alien language is subb'ed ... you know the bits that don't matter where they talk between themselves off camera ... but the dialogue between the settlers & the aliens are there i.e the main characters ... actually watched it yesterday ...

The ORIGINAL SG DVD was crap cause of the break of the movie over the 2 sides of the double-sided DVD. Glad they fixed that.
