Dr Who (Updated - 10 May 2004)

As you can imagine with 700 eps and 160 or so storylines, many not released on DVD this area will build very slowly... as I find files and verify them I'll post specs and quality pics for you. Though do not expect this thread to EVER stop. Special thanks to The Real World who's efforts have made this thread possible.

Here is a good episode guide: Outpost Gallifrey Episode Guide.

Out of the ones you posted I would recommend Day of the Daleks, Terror of the Zygons and the Stones of Blood the most. Remember that a lot of the 60s ones are fairly creaky by today's standards!

It might be a good idea to split the links up by which Doctor as well as by seasons, since everyone has their favourite.

Bear in mind that a lot of the early episodes are missing, and various serials have some or all of their episodes represented only by telesnaps and/or a soundtrack.

I understand.. like I said it will be a never ending thread!! Though I will only be posting eps I have already downloaded or have downloading.

My personal fav is "Birth of the Cybermen" First cybrman ep with the mo looking doc.

Good idea about breaking it up like that.. I just feel that as I leech the eps and build up a collection I will mod this thred as I go.... you are welcome to help ; )

Well ill be after these beauties in about 2 month after ive caught up with other stuff so im glad that you started..there use to be a load at Sharereator and i had planned on getting them and was worried when it went down that id never get the chance ( unless the BBC go ahead with there plans to release there archives online )

i dont recall this episode, which doctor is it? yeah i agree with listing them by doctor instead of season because with dr who no1 really remembers it by season do they? maybe if you jsut sorted them by doctor and put in story order?

if you want any help i dont mind helping, im quite the dr who fan, got every episode that still exists, on vhs, got endless book (inc. episode guide, etc etc), and lots of models and collectibles, hehe even got a tom baker scarf, and yes it really is that long, im 6ft4 and its 3times as tall as me

There was no origin of the Cybermen episode (at least on TV), but there was one for the Daleks.

By "Mo" I presume you mean Moe Howard of the Three Stooges, who Patrick Troughton (2nd Doctor) quite resembled.

Yea there was, kinda.... they go to this planet and "wake" them all up it is the 2nd doc.. I am sure it is called birth of the cybermen.... but after checking that exclent www site mentioned in this thread it is called "Tomb of the Cybermen"

i was wondering if u meant tomb but thats actually right at the end of the cybermens existence as they awaken the tombs, of the last few cybermen but then they lock them back in finishing the cybermen off forever

hehe yeah i remember seeing the dvd of this and almost creamig my boxers, then i realised ep 4 was a recon, still better then a poke in the eye with a sharp stick

I think that any links you ahve that arn't in the list just post in the thread. When they are downloaded edit your original post and put (verified) next to them and or post the gspot specs output. Then just post a reply saying update and what ep + edlink. (that way people will not have the verified link as well as a non verified link earlyer on)

As links are verified I will edit the original post and make a reply not to bump the thread to top.
