i've not seen transformers so i can't compare, but the reason i say rotss is better is because we all went in knowing it was just light hearted fluff, sunshine made itself out to be so much more, hence more disappointment, also at no time however bad and kiddy ff2 was it never felt a chore having to get to the end

iunno. I thought it got frustratingly bad around the time they all did their high-five bit.

same with transformers where we see all the autobots for what would prove to be one of the only times in the movie, and they're using their superhuman abilities to...contort their bodies and hide behind the deck/house. :?

 sorry. that looks bad in review. I meant the movie was stupid not the reaction.

edit: Hey! If I'm understanding tycho correctly, Medtroid Prime 3: Corruption is like...duck hunt? you use the Wiimote to target enemies? I must be missing something. how do you move around?

yes, its duck hunt... just like Resident Evil 1 was a first person shooter. its the kind of thing you never say out loud cos you sound like a friggin spaz.

Its a "first person adventure" officially; which they mean as more emphasis on jumping and exploring than on the shooting so generally isn't labelled as a first person shooter. However, to most people if its first person and you use guns, its a first person shooter.

Not played it myself since its not out in the uk. Its been getting 10s across the board and heralded as the best fps this side of the PC, which isn't hard to believe given how pathetic most of them are.

However, i really don't like Metroid Prime or Metroid Prime 2 and played them collectively for about 5 mins.

In all fairness when it started i got whiffs of Alien (the original) in the sense it was a small crew, in a big ship alone in space far from anywhere, and close dimly lit rooms/corridors etc.

I'd dispute this, its far too clean and sociable be pegged on something its leagues below... imo.

and to say event horizon is close to alien dinky... that's just silly. Rewatch event horizon. Its closer to mortal kombat than it is Alien :wacky:

Watfched both series of Grown Ups (uk comedy show), 1st series was good, 2nd series had its moments but was ultimately fucking shit, I also watched a film recently... and i can't for the life of me remember what it was....... let's look in the movies folder... ah yes Evan Almighty, it was ok really, steve caroll (sp?) was pretty good, morgan freeman just seemed to be going through the motions, and john goodman for all intents and purposes may have been better off phoning in his performance as a corrupt official. Anyway it was ok, not as good as Bruce Almighty but good enough to pass the time before bed

just watched The Zombie Diaries.... WHAT A LOAD OF SHITE, i mean it is dire even by no budget uk camcorder horror movies, i realise there was probably no budget at all, or whatever little there was went on paying to have roads blocked off for one or 2 scenes, and to buy the guns involved (although i suspect they are really just BB-Guns bought on the cheap), if the cheap lookingness of it was done to give it a stark reality feel then it really failed as i just wanted to go drill into my arm then pour salt into the open wound, while trying to be hit by an asteroid

The movie was severly disjointed and really had no idea what direction it wanted to take, which is kind of good because if it did have an idea it wouldve just seemed so much more pitiful

it's a david duchovney dramadey series on showtime. a bit like entourage for a slightly older and more gender balanced audience. also raunchier. given the channel and the star, kinda have to think of red shoe diaries too. I like it so far. it's nothing special. but it's good. 1/2 hour eps.
