Summary:
Captain Malcom 'Mal' Reynolds is a former galactic war veteran who is the captain of the transport ship "Serenity", Mal his crew of hired transporters, Mal's ensign Zoe Warren, Zoe's husband, pilot Hoban 'Wash' Washburne, muscular former combat soldier Jayne Cobb, young engineer Kaylee Frye, former Alliance medical officer Simon Tamm, his teenage sister River (Both on-the-run from the Interplanetary government "The Alliance"), the beautiful "companion" Inara Serra and religious man Shepard Book do legal or illegal jobs (smuggling, protecting, guns-for-hire, robberies) as the Serenity crew travels across the outskirts of Outer Space for food, money, anything to make a living on, as The Serenity crew tries to stay under the radar of The Alliance and pulls dangerous jobs in the Alliance controlled star systems.

Release notes:
Joss Whedon's brilliant and unfortunately short-lived series surely deserves the AFR treatment. The entire release will be almost 11 GB (1/6 DVD-R per ep) so any help spreading is highly appreciated. Note that this uses the heini_mr CQM and might give you problems with some SA players. No bitching please, I tried Jawor and this looks clearly better - or as Spud would put it: get an xBox. :)

Make sure you also get UnSeeN's AFR of Serenity.

Please help share and feel free to post it on other sites/forums and spread it to other networks if you want. Please don't remove or replace the tags. Add if you must, but keep the filenames as they are.

Enjoy!

Nice pace, ^Rogue^..

Question - stated episode number doesn't correlate to the date the episodes were aired - or to the order stated on amazon.co.uk for the DVD release.. ???

air date is worthless because they didn't even air them all.

I can see from tv.com he's doing them by episode code:
http://www.tv.com/firefly/show/7097/epi ... s;episodes

Which is usually the most accurate way of doing it.

Thanks for clearing this up Spud. :beerchug:

Episode order on the boxset was the intended one, and that's how there being released.

I'm actually very happy that I seem to get a lot of help from downloaders. If you guys keep up the good work these will all be out in 2 weeks max. :beerchug:

Well, I keep them all on release priority cuz I'm too lazy to change that according to UL:DL ratios :P And I see I'm not the only one :D I also have this boxset at home but decided what the hell I could DL as well so I wouldn't have to rip them myself as most prolly some suckers will want to borrow this from me and I ain't lending my boxset (which is one of the best looking in my collection BTW and is a bit different than that one on the photo above. It's proudly sitting right next to Alien Quadrilogy and select few of some Criterion DVDs... anyhow, it's on the top shelve ;))... All in all, thanks for this excellent rips!!! :D

I can understand that, this series is another whedon-disaster just like that collosal mess of a film Alien 4. Can see why you put those two together!

What? Give it a rest you say?

Only it's physically closer in my setup to the original Alien DVD than to the one they cloned an alien with a moaning Cliff Richard
