Neither AI ;) nor ICDGDASILFDSH5  Let me give you a few pointers then; It's a multi-genre Sci-Fi movie. It's not this years, not last years but pretty recent anyway and was one of those movies many didn't get its point so they bashed it rather than looking deeper into it, lazy sods  It also won quite a few awards, one of those more important than the others that I've never even heard of :o Really good movie if you ask me ;)

You judge dreaddfully Max  Wuz that second post of yours your alter ego going defensive? It couldn't have been "Judge Dredd", this flick is more recent than 1995 and I couldn't stand my life afterward if I ever saw another Sylvester's movie (lame pun intended)

Nope, you're walking in circles backwards there  "Mac & Me" is 1988 flick for toddlers and hardly a multi-genre Sci-Fi unless that "it's basically a lame excuse for a feature-length MacDonald's commercial" counts as a new genre ;)

And if I tell you the title of this movie has something to do with versioning?

There was a "Tron" movie shot in 80s and with Jeff Bridges no less ;) But that's not it either... Damn, hasn't anybody seen this flick then? OK, it was shot in 2004 and has a title resembling a version number like Max gave an example but it's not written in numbers though. Here you go, now if this ain't a dead giveaway :?

I'm going to just pretend you were joking when you thought i didn't know that most obvious of facts, what i infact meant before was i know recently there was a sequel game released in 2005/06 called tron 2.0 and i wasn't sure if there was a sequel movie made at the same time also called tron 2.0

One Point O?
