It's a gem , but not PA at all. I think you can remove from the list.

I just watched the movie. Remove the shot of New York from the beginning and alter a few dialogue lines and you'll get a typical Italian PA trash. Funny thing. Remove one shot of a dead android from the end of the movie and change the dialogue lines and you'll never notice there are any robots in the movie
Anyway, about a half of the movie consists of footage stolen from "The Final Executioner" (the dialogue lines were changed). Atrocious! I have both of the movies on DVD. I'll release them some time later.

It's not here because it's only slightly futuristic. Too far from being PA, IMO. But since I've made the categories, I think I'll add "Mad Max" next time and put it into the C category.

But why make oversized instead of standard-sized rips (700 MB [1CD] or 745 MB [1/6 DVD])?

I think AutoGKnot would produce better rips than Dr. DivX ... I use it for all my rips and have gotten around the cropping problem I had (thanks to Spud) ... also it has the options to select proper AFS format settings too ...

When I get time I still need to get into GKnot (manual) to get the best picture by using filter plugins, etc ... but for me (and my mates, and the DivX players we use) AutoGKnot is perfect ... IMHO ...

However, it is an entertaining PA film and has all the elements of a bad Italian post-nuke. Watch for the pyrotechnic boxes clearly exploding from the dirt.

Some questions about Gordian Knot.
How long to process? Dr.Divx takes less than 2 hours for a standard movie.
Can someone suggest a good guide, or maybe give me some pointers about the mechanics of GKnot. I am not quite a newbie to video encoding, but I do not want to use something that has an assload of settings to tweak.

If one of you is the helpful sort, let's discuss Gknot via email.
