norbit and ghost rider.

the former was a disappointment. the latter was a pleasant surprise - although it was a moderate surprise. I guess I was surprised that it wasn't complete</i> trash. it was good at parts. in the way that seeing any comic book hero is good. but I was impressed enough with the visuals and the translation from comic 2 screen of ghost rider himself and his chain and bike. other parts of the movie were really really bad. the narration by sam sheppard was laugh-out-loud bad (and made me wanna watch the big lebowski). eva mendes has some incredible boobs, but they were positively distracting the way they dressed her up AND she was a particularly poor actor in this movie. nic cage was actually fine as johnny blaze. it's always annoying that the human torch is named johnny storm and then they went and showed a preview for rise of the silver surfer, which is 30 seconds of human torch chasing the surfer. so through the whole movie, multiple people (at different times) would be saying "flame on!." it was hard to be upset with them since I was thinking the same thing but...well.... anyway. the movie didn't take itself too seriously. that was something I liked about F4. although I warn you, F4 was a better movie. so if you thought that was putrid, stay the heck away from ghost rider.

bsg. I didn't like it. I could've told you everything that would happen verbatim after the first 5 mins. but predictability wasn't really what bothered me. that part still could have been executed well.
Spoiler:
I don't like all these other characters "seeing" people who aren't there. It thins-out the impact of the technique on the two characters to whom it is proper. It also strongly suggests that what's going on with baltar and six is no different than adama "thinking out loud" in the way that Six Feet Under characters did - except 6FU had the good sense not to spell it out until the final ep. It would have been much more effective if adama had just recalled scenes from the past verbatim (as far as his memory could do so) rather than having him actually argue with the personality as if she were standing right next to him.

I doubt it. but I would prefer it end before it goes to shit. I have to largely block the last few seasons of buffy from memory. creative bankruptcy. but it's the natural state of tv. same thing happened with x-files, seinfeld, that 70s show, simpsons. s'all I can think of atm. for all the tv I watch, I really don't follow many series.

Babel</i> (2006). if this wins best picture, I'll brick shits. the departed</i> is much better. golden globes people were smokin' something fierce (or they're trying to make some political statement about our idiot in the oval office). it was a good movie. it was...imagine lost in translation</i>. now imagine lost in translation</i> being good. that's babel</i>. there's a lot in the movie to complain about (mostly that the three/four stories that make-up the movie don't all intertwine very well - or efficiently, considering this is fiction and you CAN manufacture events in a way that do). also a bit disappointed about the lack of closure for a lot of the issues. not that I want everything spelled-out per se, but there's this real feeling that they decided "oops. we're at the 95 minute mark. time to wrap things up." maybe an editing decision. but still, it took away from the experience. show don't tell sort of thing that writers usually preach.

veronica mars - really liked it. can't wait for next ep.

24 - it was fine. I'm disappointed. 24 is just another tv show now. :(

i havent visited fh for a while, but also i don't really follow bsg lol but its good to keep up on news

hmm only reboot i know is the old early 90s kids cgi show set in a computer where "games" are downloaded into teh city and the keeper or something (called bob) has to win them or the city gets destroyed, other characters included a woman called Dot Matrix, anyway no not that show

Ctrl Alt Del is a cartoon based on the ctrl alt del comics on the net, the comics are mainly about 2 guys who live together and are gamers (one moreso then the other) called Ethan (games mad one... infact just generally mad one) and Lucas (the more sane one) later they are joined by Lilah a female gamer, a rarely seen linux user called scott (and his penguin) and Zeke (an xbox that Ethan converts into a sentient albeit electronic being), very funny comic

Wiki

First comic

it started back in 2002 thought so theres a fair few comics to go through, ive read them all tho and they are fun

its the comic that created the gaming sensation we all know and love now as Winter-een-mas
