This film is real rarity even for russian Sci-Fi fans. Fortunately, recently the film was shown by TV and one russian forum released TV rip above, I created english subtiles. English is not my native laguage, but I did my best.

I downloaded this film but I found it a bit difficult to follow. Although I don't understand a word of Russian, I did live in Europe for ten years so I was pretty good at figuring out what someone was trying to say (with many errors, naturally.)

However, here are a few remarks I can do right now, also there are answers to questions.

{4021}{4102}The program of 37th Starry [?]|is completed.
{4112}{4212}"Al'Graab" and history flow towards "Tantra".
{4214}{4277}And if an encounter took place ...

37th Starry = 37th Expedition to Stars
"Al'Graab" - spaceship, that was sent towards "Tantra" with fuel (because it was known, that "Tantra" is finishing the Expedition and will be soon out of fuel). Therefore second line should be something like

{4112}{4212}"Al'Graab" with fuel is going towards "Tantra".

I do not have my titles handy and don't remeber, how I translated myself.

Anameson - the word, invented by I.Efremov (author of novel) - it is fuel, used by "Tantra", "Sail" etc.

{98144}{98260}The ship is 3 light years|from the orbit of Neptune.

Again, I don't remeber my own translation, but russian text sounds something like

{98144}{98260}The ship is 1/100 of parsec|from the orbit of Neptune.

Parsec (Parallax Second) is distance, from where Earth's orbit is visible by angle of one second (1/3600 of degree) and is a bit more than three light years. So, the distance is about 3/100 ligth years - a bit more, than one "light week". Three light years is far too long distance - it's quite close to distance to closest star (about 4 light years).

You should do this this for living. This movie is very difficult to subtitle even for a Russian (the communists basically invented their own utopian dialect back in the 60s). If I was given the task, I'd probably do a whole lot worse. "You do not understand a word in Russian?" I find it hard to believe! Thank you for the great work! Grigorianvlad.
