i read on drunken donkey that allegedly it's just a server problem, and not a takedown- folks identified the error message you get when accessing the site as a technical error.
i tend to believe that since otherwise, there would have been a bigger splash, as to say.

as far as its the usual, down for trivial reasons but the poor communications channel with the sysop means they can't communicate to get him to reset the server. Might be something slightly more serious, but i doubt it.

Don't know which OS you're using but in Windows you can edit your Hosts file (type %windir%\system32\notepad.exe %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts into Start/Run dialog box and hit Enter). Then you can add a line 72.15.144.56 www.fileheaven.org into this file. Once you reload your browser is should redirect you to this IP automatically. Should work with cookies, also :wacky:

linux is pretty much the same, i think its just open this file in a text editor:
/etc/hosts
