@ dinky, yeah i remember the silver surfer, fantastic 4 and hulk cartoons and the iron man cartoon for that matter, they used to be screened as Marvel Action hour on a saturday or sunday morning i think
originally it was iron man & fantastic 4 i think and then later they replaced f4 with hulk, X-Men always followed it up until season 3 or 4, season 5 was never screened here

yep. iron man too. forgot that. I thought they were all pretty decent, really. but mostly because they were part of the 90s reaction to the 70s & 80s superhero crap that hanna barbara did like super friends and spidey & friends and all those other scooby doo clones that played everything for laughs (not unlike the recent trend in movies).

i was never a big fan of scooby doo either, or as you say it's clones (captain caveman, josie and the pussycats, the funky phantom etc) although it's no wonder the tennagers these days enjoy antisocial behaviour, they are just sick and tired of everyone asking them to solve mysteries involving ghosts and fairgrounds

Dinky do you remember aswell this kind of superhero cartoon, Defenders of the earth, where Flash Gordon, The Phantom, Lothar, & Mandrake teamed up together and with their 4 sons to battle bad guys
