Bloody wicked show ... what a drug ...

I love this as much as I loved the original when I watched it the first time round ... I love the changes ... the stories ... the cast ... etc, etc ...

I've been on a 'Season 2' mega blast over the past few weeks watching a few episodes every night when I get the chance ... I'm on 'Scar' tonight so I'm glad the last piece of the puzzle has been posted 'S02-20' ... the sad thing is I don't want it to finish NOW as I can't wait till October ... :D

Just want to say thanks to all who has kept this thread going with info & posts ... job well done ... So say we all ...

cheers ... off to find a new Series to get into ... after this of course ... and Invasion ... and ........................

:beerchug:

Seems to be a lot of people wondering when shows start, there's a basic tv schedule that answers this for most of the big shows:

that's refreshing at least, scifi channel and universal usually flash logos all over the joint. Wish they'd stop that, really spoils my pirate wares

Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't you just grab the vobs of a DVDr rather than a 3gig avi... . .

also isn't there a 2gig limit whne burning a single file to dvd media?

DVDr is MAXIMUM of 720x576. MPEG2 is also inferior to MPEG4. Using a vob format would be a serious downgrade. Of biblical proportions

UDF isn't limited to 2GB, iso is really a cd filesystem not a dvdr one. UDF isn't that compatible with current cheap dvd players, but then, HDTV is unplayable in said players so that's irrelevant.

Otherwise splitting is trivial, joining leads to sync issues. Its one of the principles behind ARF for similar reasons, and why one large file is better than smaller ones. Also easier to spread. Downside is they don't work in old mules.

No, the releases are the right size (maybe 4.38GB would have been better but i guess blade isn't the ripper and had no control over that), the right codec (maybe x264 of course, but that's not universally accepted) and in the right format (vobs suck balls)

Check out the hdtv thread in small talk section for more, why DVDr is inferior.

I found on emule the DVD SUBS (ifo, idx) for the TOPAZ rips.
Am now converting them to SRT using the SUBRIPs OCR method.
If anyone's intersted, I can upload them
