I will definitely go watch it, buy the DVD and action toys
even if the movie turns out crap

yup, I'm expecting an out and out predator film, so if it turns out to be a decent (we're talking none Alien "Alien spinoff" Resurrection here) I will be very happy.
However, because of the obvious cheesiness of the story, its got to be classed as a Predator film.

actually, I thought the Alien series took the cake for cheese once Ripley, believe it or not, kept coming back!

Seeing this can't be anywhere as cheesy as Aliens 3 & 4, I'd classify it as a Predator film too. Especially since it's all about the Predator, excuse me while I use a Trek term, 'Right of Accension' hunt.

I got so impatient, I tried to get a group of friends togther to help me in a CG project. unfortunately the support just kinda fell apart & I couldn't do it all myself.

sorry but predator was infinitely more cheesy than alien3. And predator 2 was an absolute cheese shop... lol at the scopes they have on their pistols 
alien4 was purposely "tongue in cheek"... I think that's why it was so terrible.

Ah, Bisop boy. Yeah, loved him in Aliens, Near Dark, & Terminator also.
'Alien³' actually for those playing at home. No way man!!! 'Predator 2' was so better than 'Alien³'. Worst thing in 'Predator 2' was the skull of an alien, even though they are the space cockroach, so they don't have bones as we do. Worst part of 'Alien³' was that everyone but Ripley died, she was surrounded in a prison by XXY humans & didn't get raped several times, and well, the alien dog.
Then again, 'Alien (4) Resurection' was worse w/ the clone & Alien Queen, plus those stupid water Aliens.
