just a note if you ripped this personally or know who did, you need to IVTC ntsc sources or you waste 6 frames per second which mounts up to a sizable chunk of wasted video data.

Okay, i'm assuming you haven't got true NTSC (which is only tv content). Anything shot for cinema is faked to 30fps on DVD/Video, so you need to force it back down to the framerate of 23.976fps, not 29.976fps

Assuming you use Gknot for ripping, in DGIndex hit F5, if it says FILM > 95% you need to select "FORCE FILM". Otherwise, if this fails, you need to select "Inverse Telecine" from the save and encode screen. That will handle the vast majority of cases.

This does two things:
1) Remove 5 frames per second that are wasted ie. repeated frames that shouldn't be there (which cause jerkiness that some people can't tolerate ie. some people from PAL regions who aren't used to NTSC)
2) Eliminates the need to deinterlace, the interlaced frames are removed, the actual material left is progressive after ivtc.

Essentially you've not done it for this rip, and assuming this is FILM material you've either got ~6 frames every second that shouldn't be there and you've either a) applied deinterlacing when you wouldn't have needed or b) still have interlaced material left in there.

One of those annoyances with NTSC that needs to be done for every rip. Whilst technically PAL can need IVTCing, this is rare and difficult (and even if it is the case, the impact is a single frame per second).

In that case, yes, i'm certain that you should have IVTC'd it.

Given that this is a new share, i'm not sure how spread it is. you could always rerip, its quite a simple matter to fix. If you use Gknot anyway:
