left, center etc. is all crap invalid IE code, don't use that shite

Proper alignment is done by div
Code: Select all
<div align="left"></div>

or better yet, table
Code: Select all
<table>
<tr>
<td><img src="http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/5846/vaderjoinmesm0nm.jpg"></td>
<td>[b]"no dinky.... I am correct!"[/b]
[i]"No!!! It's not true! It's impossible"[/i]
[b]"search your feelings... you know it to be true..."[/b]</td>
</tr>
</table>

<table>

"search your feelings... you know it to be true..."</td>

font looks obnoxious to me, but overall cleaner than stacking the things. iirc, I can't alter the font size in the table for some reason?

watched another ep of Point Pleasant. also last nights ep of 24.

you inability to code basic html maybe? :lol: table elements are entirely independant from sizing the font.

Code: Select all
<table>
<tr>
<td><img src="http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/5846/vaderjoinmesm0nm.jpg"></td>
<td>[b][size=10]Dinky is shit at bbcode[/size][/b]</td>
</tr>
</table>

looks fine in whatisreal et. al. but if you are playing with the big boys html, you gotta back it up with l33t skills.

hmm...I can't remember if I tried the phpbb code for size before. but I'm sure the old school html wasn't working last time I tried all this stuff.

anywho, watch the sentinal</i>. I thought it was pretty decent. all the reviews talked about how shit it is. so I was expecting something barely-/unwatchable.

cracked me up that the running joke through the whole movie was how pretty eva longoria is. my GOD, I think imma watch Desperate Housewives.

have you not seen eva longoria? that's the only way to make sense of your mockery. she (supposedly) goes through the whole show half naked.

first 2 of 3 point pleasant</i> discs are done. it's bumpy. kind of like a WB or UPN show rather than a polished FOX show, but it's also damn cool. needful things</i> meets the omen</i> with a little twist where the devil's daughter (with mortal mother) is in the same situation as jesus but inverted...in terms of the choice about following daddy's plan or being seduced by (in this case) the "good" side. anyway...it's definitely 90210ish, but nothing as 90210ish as charmed, which I stopped watching after about 3 eps of the first season. they picked a good actor for the villain/demon guy.

also caught the last half of out of sight</i> on cinemax. damn. that's a much better movie than I gave it credit for when I first saw it. gotta give the nod to eva over j. lo though.

picked up animal house and blues brothers (orig.) for $10 total.

veronica mars s1 was $25, so imma see what all that fuss is about.

escape from LA and a simple plan were both $6 each. so picked them up as well.

finally, there was a denzel washington pack with man on fire, courage under fire and <s>fire down below</s> the siege for $20. not a great deal, but I didn't have any of them, and I've been meaning to get man on fire. plus the siege actully turns out to look quite prophetic in the wake of 9/11. so that's aight.

speaking of the forum slowly dying and all...if anyone wants a rip of anything I mention, lemme know. not that they're particularly sci-fi or whatnot. but for future reference. ;)

watched latest scrubs, smallville, south park and latest 2 family guys, will get latest robotchicken and amiercan dad ep when its on

all i could think of when watching family guy now though was south park cartoon wars episode with peter going "oooh you think *thats* bad, remember the time...." :lol:

south park was pretty funny, especially the start

Mr. Mackay: Little Billy Turner Is Now Being Treated In The Hospital
cartman: ok i'm sorry i handcuffed billlys' ankle to the flagpole
mr mackay: You Know Thats Not The Point
cartman: ok ok geez, i'm sorry i handcuffed billys' ankle to the flagpole and gave him a hacksaw then told him i poisoned his lunchmilk and the only way to get to the antidote in time was to saw through his leg
mrs cartman: that's very naughty eric
cartman: well he called me chubby

just watched wedding crashers finally as its been sitting on my hdd for god knows how long, and it was really quite utterly crap, the only redeeming feature was isla fisher (who i have had a thing for ever since i first saw her in home & away many many moons ago when i was still at school, 1994 infact when i was in year 7 (just started secondary school or high school for you americans), other then that (and the appearance of her breasts too) the film jsut plain old sucked, more then anything
