Steve Martin recent films have been total crud, if the only films he gets offered are drab rehashes old 30's & 40's films, he'd be better taking a good long break or giving up.

clerks</i>. and about an hour of call of duty 2 on the 360. americans have the best rifles. damn tompsons and whatever the soviets used were shit for sniping. pick-up mp40s for regular action anyway.

Been watching more of Charlie Jade. I like it. There's some over the top characters, but its taken a mystery cop show form for the time being. Like the Total Recall tv series. The storyline is a bit better though, so i doubt we'll see a shite doctor who ending for this one... we shall see though, there's still time

Someone said there's noise of a second series. I've made it a habit now to never judge a show by a single series, time and time again, shows have kicked off in the second season now when the characters have settled, the writing has been reviewed, etc.

that'll be because thompsons were more close quarters assault weapons rather then long range sniper rifles fool hence why thompsons arent in the rifle class and are more smg (sub machinegun not sarah michelle gellar)

uh...yeah. my bad. the american rifles have scopes, which means you can actually snipe with them. the others don't. thompsons is another issue. I prefer the mp-40s. don't have to reload every second and it is easier to target with. was surprised to storm normandy as an american with a thompson. is that at all authentic?

yes the thompson was a american military weapon, originally invented in the early part of the century and later developped and used by troops (the tommy gun is an early example of a thompson before it was refined more)

Quess so, Thompsons and M1 Garands both in use at the time, in the real world of course a Thompson has more stopping power than an mp-40. Most games don't seem to take that into account though.

Saw sopranos, its a lot better than when it started now.

Finally saw king kong, it was okay... but wtf was with the hype? They hype every single shitty movie these days but it was average, and it seemed far longer than it needed to be. Reminded me of LOTR with all the reaction shots... okay jackson we got it, its sad, it happened, we don't need to see every supporting actors reaction shot too. You could cut out like 40mins just of those. It did the job i guess though.

Also watched Galaxina, i guess it was meant to be funny. Erm... yeah, it was okay, but I think it would have been better with a script so the cast and crew knew what they were meant to be doing for the last 30mins+
