Well ifyour joking fair enough haha :)

If not, dear god; you've missed some classic Brit Sci Fi Action, ABC Atomic Biological & Chemical (real world of course is NBC) 2000AD long long running story about a bunch of robot soldiers... A plot so complicated I can't explain atm. Needless to say if you've missed 'em you've missed a lot :(

yep, it's definitely the robot from judge dredd. I guess they named it completely something different across the pond? cuz I know the comic was also judge dredd (in the states).

ah ha! I KNEW if I kept posting before I finished searching, I could solve this thing. hehe

imdb trivia wrote:The movie was based upon a popular and long-running British comic book character who first appeared in the comic "2000 AD".

I'm pretty confident that dredd is an offshoot of 2000 ad. 8)

The ABC Warriors and Judge Dredd both appear in the weeekly comic 2000AD which is now owned by the people who did the last Judge Dredd game. The robot in the film is supposed to be Hammerstein (minus his helmet and rover badge). The ABC Warriors were created to fight off an alien invasion.

Same company behind AvP game btw, Rebellion Games.

Not the only game company to own a comic, Acclaim (who i think went bust) owned Valiant comics, hence why they made games like Shadowman:
