what's this movie

it's something I rented as a kid(in the early 80's)so I don't remember too much of it

it has something to do with a bad guy(ruler??) who uses a sort of a table full of needled to drain to blood of women(people) to keep him young(or something)

then there's also something bout the hero's spaceship crashin(being shot down) & some sort of bio chem stuff is released on him so he turns into a mindles giant killer(controlled by the bad guy of course )

then there's also an asian kid in it with telepatic powers,who can also control the mutated giant,who seems to be a really nice guy (being the hero & all )

& there's of course the girl that needs to be saved

that's bout it
I think it's from the late 70s or early 80s
