Jimmy Carr - Standup, was pretty funny overall, especially when he was ripping these 2 people in the audience and labelled the girl a slag

anonymous rex</i>...sci-fi channel movie, I think. I have no excuse.

latest BSG (part 1 of the 2-part season finale). interestingly enough, sci-fi needs to work on their commercial spot placement. after the ep, they give you the preview for the next ep, where they say something like "don't miss the season finale next week." then right after that preview is a general ad for BSG that says "new episodes every friday at 10pm on sci-fi."

smallville was a repeat.

lol Alien nation was on channel five yesterday, I hadn't seen it all before, just knew how cheesy it was... predicted it was alien nation within about 10 seconds of credit then also predicted that the black man would die pretty quickly, which he did

The funny thing was that i said, within the 10 seconds i also said it would be something crap "like red sonya", which incidently was on the other side... someone must have been reading a tv guide to me in my sleep or something.

series was difficult to watch. although from what I remember about it (very little), it felt like that gene rodenbery's something or other...with the aliens with the similar looking heads who also lived among us...and lots of blue.

forgot to mention that I saw ultraviolet</i> yesterday. it sells itself as a comic book...maybe some weird magna hybrid. anyway, I've never heard of it, but I've also been more or less out of comics for nearly 10 years.

it's bad. no. really. it's bad. the preview is a more complete and comprehensible plot than the movie. I think Milla Jovovich is trying to corner the ever-popular D-movie sex pot market. kinda like the bruce campbell or ed wood of sci-fi or something. maybe trying for bruce lee type of thing...or maybe john wayne (except people paid to watch their movies!) at least she was nude in RE:2.

u find bruce campbell a "D-movie sex pot" dinky?, whatever floats your boat mate

if u want to watch a better ultravoilet then check out the 90s uk show of the same name with jack davenport in about vampires much better

ive been watching the next 4 episodes of the flash and i think maybe i was a little too harsh on it before, while its nothing great and the pilot was an absymal pile of poo the other episodes while not exactly shakespeare arent that bad, not repeatable but one watchable

(except people paid to watch their movies! )

i dont know whats funnier, you imply people actually still pay to see films, or that anyone with even a retarded redneck/chav amount of brain functions would even watch john "the worlds biggest crappest "actor"" wayne for free let alone pay

john wayne fans make me sick

he's a b-movie star. he has carved quite a career for himself as a niche movie star. and...uh...of course he's sexy. he's bruce campbell, you heathen!

that was another thing that pissed me off about the movie. they kept calling themselves vampires, but nothing about them has any connection whatever to any major vampire lore except</i> they are super/non-human. wtf??? first of all, they need to not be calling them vampires in this movie. but even more to the point, if they do</i> call them vampires (and the "rules" that govern what a vampire is are not standard/traditional), then they damn well better make explicit what it motherfuckin' means</i> to be a vampire in this fuct up mythology.

you know, just because I can</i> download everything under the sun doesn't mean I want</i> to...nor does everyone else with broadband access. I also don't waste</i> it on cams. it may be different if I lived in a place where the theatrical release is staggared (e.g., 28 days later, shawn of the dead), but in general, if I'm determined enough to down a pos cam or even a telesynch, then I'm willing to shell out $7 to see it in the theater. as for john wayne, he was an extremely popular actor. you really ought to reconcile yourself with that. he's dead & gone. he's not going to assault your senses with more stupid movies. and, I think it's given, no one's asking you to like him. but unpopular he wasn't.

well I do generally enjoy the atmosphere of a movie on the bigscreen too. and if it's out and I'm interested enough to see it, then it prolly goes without saying that I wanna see it at that time rather 3-10 months later when a dvd (rip) becomes available. this usually means seeing things on opening day/weekend. ultraviolet was just impulsive. and a bad impulse at that. I've been starved for movies I even care to see at the theater in the last couple months. I think hoodwinked</i> was the only thing I've seen and really enjoyed since before christmas.

but I am impressed with...myself. I insulted you. 8)
