Note that 'post-apocalyptic' doesn't always mean post-nuclear or post-WW3!
Any suggestions are welcome (especially concerning the additions to the list). This collection will probably stay uncompleted, because a lot of the movies of this sub-genre are not (and most probably won't be) available.
I've decided to steal the idea of categorizing the movies into three groups from http://www.post-apocalypse.co.uk. The explaination for every category is below.
