Mexico Air Force UFO Video released

Postby d0c on Thu May 13, 2004 7:26 pm

The Mexican Air Force has released footage of what a UFO expert said were 11 invisible unidentified flying objects picked up by an infrared camera as they whizzed around a surveillance plane. Jaime Maussan told a news conference on Tuesday the objects were real and seemed "intelligent" after they at one point changed direction and surrounded the plane chasing them.

"They were invisible to the eye but they were there, there is no doubt about it. They had mass, they had energy and they were moving about,"

After showing a 15-minute video he said the Defense Ministry gave him permission to publicize it.

aliens from other planets? You need to watch out for aliens from france!

Seriously though, its almost certain that there will be something that can be described as an alien life form... however, probably a bit of plankton or some one cell organism.

The idea that they visit earth is a tad laughable though.

I like Red Dwarf's view of it all:
Rimmer, there's nothing out there, you know. There's nobody out there. No alien monsters, no Zargon warships, no beautiful blondes with beehive hairdos who say, `Show me some more of this Earth thing called kissing.’ There's just you, me, the Cat, and a lot of floating smegging rocks. That's it. Finito.

For those that haven't seen it, there are absolutely no aliens in Red Dwaf.

From the novel "Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers" (part 1, chapter 14)...
For a period, ships full of astros in stasis booths were hurled out of our solar system, and interstellar travel enjoyed its golden age. The big hope, of course, was that they'd contact intelligent life. They didn't. Not even a moderately intelligent plant. Not even a stupid plant. Nothing. And it was surmised correctly, though it was not confirmed for a further two thousand years, that Mankind was completely and totally and inexplicably alone. In all of the universe. In all of the universe, the planet Earth was the only planet with any life forms. That's all there was.

Makes the series all the better imo. Talk about a bleak future
