Plot Synopsis: In the aftermath of a hurricane, a Florida Park Ranger and his family deal with strange occurrences, including luminescent creatures in the water and people that somehow seem to have changed after surviving the night of the disaster out in the open.

Code: Select all: For centuries, man has searched the skies for signs of intelligent life, but to no avail. What if the explanation lay in the fact that aliens were already here -- already among us? And what if all of the natural disasters we've been experiencing of late were smokescreens designed to mask something far more ominous? When yet another devastating hurricane threatens Florida, temporarily cutting off a small town at the edge of the Everglades, U.S. Park Ranger Russell Poole takes heroic measures to keep both the town's citizens and his family safe. In the middle of the violent storm, his young daughter is the only one to see small lights floating towards the water, seemingly unaffected by the vicious winds. At the time he thinks nothing of her claim, but begins to suspect that something may indeed be amiss when his missing ex-wife is found naked, with no memory of what happened during the storm. As the tiny town struggles to recover while his nemesis, the Sheriff, quarantines the entire area, Poole begins to investigate the strange goings on, unwittingly beginning a fight for the survival of the human race.

I watched the first two episodes of this then kind of forgot about it. I thought "I know exactly where this is headed...its just invasion of the body snatchers on TV". But I think I'm going to catch up with the rest and see if they have done anything interesting with it.

I really am loking for a new show but I just can not take another "they walk among us" style scifi. IMO it is the weakest type of science fiction in the same way that the weakest horror is about a creature that takes human form... .. . It is just a cop out. Still I'll grab the pilot and have a look see anyways.. like I asid I am starved Trailer park boys, Rome all off line.... thanks the produers for Battlestar and Atlantis (and sg1 for habit sake)
