Liquid propultion, stages-multi rocket boosters, moving launch pads. Von Brown (Nazi rocket designer who took the USA to the Moon) has stated many a time that this film was his direct insperation as a child to try and take the human race to space.
It is really an amazing flick, when you see the rocket come off the launch pad, and even look at the building where the rocketr is housed you can not help but think of the startaling simlarity to the real buildings and rockets built almost 30 years later
