This is a very informative video lecture by Dr. Albert A. Bartlett about how we can use simple arithmetic to understand the problems of population growth and energy problems. A simple but throughout explanation of the exponential function is given as it governs all of natural phenomena including population growth. Its correct understanding and application can prevent many problems within our society from reaching alarming proportions. Bartlett is able to produce proof that our energy supplies won't last for very much long and that the media's optimistic attitude is one big lie. This video should give you many answers to problems which we face today but cannot be solved because we don't know how they've came into existence. A must see for everyone.
