Synopsis:
Calling all science fans – Brainiac is on its way back to Sky One! Hammond, Tickle and the gang are back for a second series that is promising to go with an even bigger and better bang than the first one.

So what can you expect to see blown up in the name of science we hear you cry? They'll be even more things not to put into your microwave, and the team will be answering some of life's biggest questions, such as can a noise frequency make you poo your pants? And who will win in race between a slug, a snail and a tortoise?

Ladies' favourite Richard Hammond will be joined by toaster inventor genius Jon Tickle as well as Two Brains, Dr Bunhead, Peter Logan and the lovely Charlotte Hudson. The girls will also be hand to pull the plunger and look pretty.

So get your bunsen burner at the ready, Brainiac's back!

Don't download this and think it's a British version of Mythbusters, because that would be so far from the truth as you can ever get. Their "research" is just plain silly, and at times plain stupid. There are however some few moments of sun in this rainy series, but not enough to give you the slighest of tans.
