I watched The Fantasic 4 last night, but not so fantastic a movie. Far too simplistic a plot and mediocre acting. Even Star Wars 1 is more interesting. They left room for a sequel, but I don’t think they will find a following.

I can not believe this, how could a big budget Hollywood movie sink so low? Honestly, I think your misinterpretting its artistic intent!

erm... or not  I have to say, I saw a still of the hulk or rockman or whatever it is and it looked like a big foul turd...

holy bad hollywood movies batman, thats bad, heres what they should do for the sequel, replace the fantastic 4 with the "Real" Fantastic 4, the real fantastic 4 of course being Dr Peter Venkman, Dr Ray Stantz, Dr Egon Spengler, & Winston Zeddemore and rename the movie from the fantastic 4 to ghostbusters 3, although the actors are getting a bit old perhaps give them cameos training new ghostbusters (although bill murray is dead against this as he fears it will lead to constant sequels ala fri13th, nightmare on elm street, although he has said he will do ghostbusters 3 if he can be a ghost in it)

it's nowhere near as uninteresting as TPM. take away the "dude, it's SW!" factor and FF blows SW away. yes, FF is a running joke. on the other hand, it's supposed to be. SW is not. big difference.

(acting wasn't good, but it is what it is: a cast of TV stars)

ps - the thing definitely looks like a piece of shit. don't take that figuratively.

edit: just watched the first ep of s2 alias and s2 of BG.

I think that e1s2 is what spud saw of alias. not remotely as good as the pilot ep from s1. the last 4-5 eps in s1, sidney was searching for mommy. she actually appears in e1s2. liked what I saw of BG. hate the "to be continued" shit.

ah, thems was the days. you're talking about the first real ghostbusters, right? not the thing that had nothing to do with the movies nor that "extreme ghostbusters" shit, right? thems was the days.

im not talking about that gay filmation shite either, its the "real" ghostbusters :o) incidently it was set between movie 1 and 2 originally, even though theres no mention of dana barrett in the cartoon some of the storylines do follow on a bit, and they mention gozer a few times and even vigor once i think, they also use the marshmallow man (who for some reason was on the side of good in the cartoon)to destroy murray the mantis in same episode, what annoyed me though was when they replaced lorenzo music as the voice of peter venkman and arsenio hall as winston zeddemore and janine, maurice la marche stayed as egon throughout though and i think paul welker stayed as ray and slimer throughout

I watched hitch last night. I am getting worried because I liked the movie. Acting was not that great but for some reason I laughed. This type of movie has never appealed to me in the past so I am getting worried. Maybe I should give away my Rambo movies and start watching girly movies. HELP
