I have a Little problem with the last part of the movie:

at about 3/4 of the movie the image starts to be like that of a malfunctioning digital video recorder, I mean blocks, parts of the screen being refreshed little later than others.

does it happen to you too?
Is it an intrinsic quality of the movie or does it depend on how you encoded it?
Or is it some hashing error, which I sincerely do not belive, since my mule would have recovered bad parts....

You might want to check you've got the latest version of xvid and FFDshow, it might be your computer's problem as opposed to a problem with the file/link... its very often the case and it does sound like a description of out of date codecs.
