Why should you get the widescreen version? Because this film uses composition
to comment on the psychology of the characters. Note, for instance, how Harry
Palmer constantly enters scenes in the background - small, powerless
and an outsider.

Does that mean this is a pirate movie? What's the quality like?

I really like this movie, just want to check what quality its like though :)

it's a give away or bonus DVD or something like that.
quality is ok for such an old film - it's in colour...that kinda washed out 60's movie colour

yeah , I like this old too. another oldie but a goodie.

Dont know where you got the notion this is not available commersialy. There is an Anchor Bay release available all over the internet.

Anyway, exellent movie. Saw it on TV a while ago. Didnt notice any washed away colours then. Sparkling technicolor rather.

that's what the nfo says. But this release is a few years old so maybe they made it available commercially since then?
