I am haninging for this movie as I can nto see how they can screw it up to much (yes I know that is a jynks) But the radio play and even the book is already scripted so most of the jokes will be there I hope.

Still it is a little worrying that they had to wait for him to die before they wewre aloud to make it.

my god it sounds like they intend doing the long feared remake mistake
you know the " don't worry no one will notice its been that long " kind of mistake like they did with lost in space and flight of the pheonix and lets not forget the mistakes they make doing films of cult series like casting an old hammer horror star as Dr Who or even putting a girl in flight of the pheonix or harrison ford in fugative and now they got War of the Worlds to mess up

what next remake TARANTULAR and ask Mr Eastwood to fly the jet again
shoot em all in the neck till they make new films

And who in the hell took two great films with a built in sequel link and came up with the twaddle they call A.V.P
