In the late 1960's, Japanese company Tsuburaya created the superhero Ultraman. Nearly a decade later, Shaw Brothers bring their own version to life, The Super Inframan.
The world is in peril. Monsters are beginning to attack Earth and they are led by Dragon Princess Elzibub (Terry Liu), who plots to take over the world. Professor Liu (Wang Hsia) decides that the time has come to release his brand new project, codename BDX. When he sets up the defense attack in case Elzibub decides to attack the center, Liu chooses Rayma (Danny Lee), the best member of the team, to be the volunteer for his new experiment. Liu is ready to create the Inframan, an armored superhero who is the last hope to save Earth. While one of the monsters attack the center, Rayma is transformed to Inframan and he comes just in time to stop the monster.
Elzibub learns of the Inframan and sends more monsters to destroy the center. However, thanks to the defense team as well as Inframan, all begins to be safe until one of the team members, Chu Ming (Lam Man-Wai) is kidnapped and forced to get the design plan of Inframan so Elzibub can find his weak points. When she learns Inframan uses solar power to release his Sun Ja beam, she finds a way to stop him. However, she doesn't learn that Inframan has some new weapons in his arsenal that Liu created. When Liu and his daughter Mei (Yuen Man-Tsu) are kidnapped, the time has come for Rayma and his team to rescue the professor and stop Elzibub once and for all.
