This is the first time that I've seen PRoDJi's release being IMO better than UnSeeN's even though the later has a slightly higher bitrate than the other :wacky: I know it's not a competition but it's still a good thing we have more than one release here. And since it's quite a popular DL it won't matter much that sources will split between them :D

That's one impressive processor IMO... colors are more vivid, more natural skin tones, and sharper picture... If anyone knows, I'd be greatly interested in knowing what processor did they use or did they simply adjust contrast/hue levels manually :?

different frames don't make for a comparison usually. However, i think prodji's maybe over sharpened... that's the primary issue, and neither colour scale looks natural to me, but its probably supposed to be vibrant given its comic book tones.

Only if you lack experience :lol: :lol: :lol: sorry man, couldn't resist :P @Spud.. it is a bit over sharpened, true (see spider suit on the first pic) but still better than UnSeeN's that's washed-out and like out of focus IMO. (I'm comparing pic post-processors here, not compressors BTW... they're the same) I would totally wanna know what post-processing (if any) did they use... it's so rare seeing vivid, crisp colors w/ MPeG4 cuz of the way compressor works (limiting color count to bare minimum). And being slightly over-sharpened isn't much of a problem IMO as most will watch it resized anyway and there's no real-time resizer out there ATM that won't let you down quality wise, using either bi-cubic or - even worse - bilinear resample (bob and wave w/ DVDs respectfully). But like you said, it's hard to compare and/or judge rip quality only by stills of different frames... and it's totally subjective ;)
