This widescreen version is not available commercially. The source DVD was non-
anamorphic (4:3) and mastered from a theatrical print. The image and sound are
therefore unrestored.
Why should you get the widescreen version? Because this film uses composition
to comment on the psychology of the characters. Note, for instance, how Harry
Palmer constantly enters scenes in the background - small, powerless
and an outsider.
