hhmm i wouldnt class it as scifi myself but the wicker man?? i say that because you said "the man who fell to earth" wrong on all counts but one and those eyes look like christopher lee

Its just the sewer that has you saying that :lol: But yeah, its filmed in widescreen, whereas this is either cropped or full frame. Looking at the quality of the sets, it has to be cropped though.

I don't think I've seen it.. looks a bit like Dune tv series... but of course that isn't a movie so isn't allowed.

well, that and it looks like smoke rising where the light hits the sand in the foreground, the dude with the trench coat is in the shadows and looks kinda like Spike, and the big columns look like a remote place where one of the shows had its climax...but in retrospect, I think that was still at night.

The DVD presents the film in a correctly rendered full-frame aspect ratio (1.33 to 1), with crisp definition and excellent contrast between the film's complex color/tonal scheme.
