the last legion</i>. it was stupid. honestly, I was waiting for christopher lambert or jean claude vandamme to make their obligatory d-movie appearance. I guess ben kingsly is competing for that crown these days (bloodrayne?). despite the title, this movie has very little to do with roman historical fiction. it's another origin of arthur story. and to be honest, the basic plot is an interesting story. terrible script, ridiculously bad casting, and direction from someone who looks like he studied every made for tv movie on standard cable. I can't believe this is an actual movie. it's ridiculously bad. the definition of stv. where oh where did the $67,000,000 go?

subgenre of horror or action?

who knows with a director of that calibre!!!
I'd say a failed horror.

Oh and honestly, Die Hard 3 is a better movie than Die Hard 2. it was very different, its very repeatable since its a good film to watch, etc. I think die hard 4 is going to be a crappy version of Die Hard 3, kinda like die hard 2 was a crappy version of Die Hard... we'll see though.

PotC3</i> (again  ). actually, I would have liked to see invisible</i> or 28 weeks later</i>, but there are 18 screens and 16 of them were showing PotC3</i>, Shrek the third</i>, and spider-man 3</i>. :?

didn't matter. loved it. except for that whole non-fight at the end. the fight they had was good and all. and I get that whichever side the flying dutchman is on wins cuz it's unsinkable and the crew is immortal. but wtf? keira gives that great speech. everybody on all the other ships is swayed. and they just sit there? yeah. that was bad. I think they meant to imply that there was only one ship per "pirate lord" too, and that's just not right. the guy elizabeth took over for had multiple ships. jack's dad isn't even one of the 9, and he's got a ship (which I guess makes up for jack and barbosa sharing the pearl?). iunno. only complaint. ate the rest of it up.

I know it's just fiction and really over the top fiction at that, but I love the attitude: "dying's a day worth living for" and all...iunno why it seemed so much more...good...than the same basic stuff in 300</i>. maybe cuz the "freedom" the pirates are fighting for is a pseudo anarchy whereas the "freedom" in 300</i> is this ridiculous (for its context) democracy? that's at least on an intellectual level. not sure that's the reason for the emotional engagement though. depp and rush ham it really well, maybe? "...and really bad eggs. drink up me hardies. yo ho!"

Dinky i never knew you were into Pre Pubescent school boys, as that would be the obvious way to describe keira knightley

or do you just like Bobbleheads? Massively oversized heads and undersized scrawny bodies

knocked up</i>. movie was ok, I guess. you watch the trailer, you pretty much get all of the movie. not worth the 2 hours. it didn't suck. it just wasn't very good. iunno what was with katherine heigl's hair. they bleached it super blonde - almost white. she's a very attractive woman, but her attractiveness isn't a dolled-up, fake sort of thing. and the hair was so painfully, obviously fake. I mean shite, even I noticed it. strongest part of the movie is the "entourage" moments where the guys are messing around with each other (there's a running bet about a guy's facial hair). it's the only thing worth watching that the preview doesn't show (part of those scenes in the bit int he previews where the friend goes "hear that been? don't let him near your kid. he wants to 'rear your child.'"

it's a uk comedy show starring an american woman who shares a flat with northen comedian Lee Mack, whose character is best friends with southern comedian Tim Vine (guiness world record holder for most jokes told in 60 minutes (377) whose character happens to be the ex bf of the american chick but he dumped her to run off with a 23 year old, who left him.

Anyway Lee Mack fancies the american woman who fancies him back, they are all really sarcastic and funny, she is dumb, lee mack is really twisted and cant hold down a job, and tim vine is an accountant trying to hold onto his youth by sleeping with younger women and listening to modern music.

For americans the humour might be a bit hit and miss at times, but its still really really funny, but i've also just realised your not american are you jynks. all the eps are on emule

Even though your joking, there's one thing to mention. IMO star wars is overrated, empire is where its at. Of course historically its much more significant. For modern standards, star wars is too slow paced, doesn't hold up to repeat viewing and stalls in several places for my tastes.

I honestly prefer both Empire and those blessed ewoks, i've seen return and empire many more times than the original.

hell no, fucking stv gayness, Class of 1999 is a classic from 1990 (sequel is just a shit cash in) about battledroids brought into schools to help clean up the gang violence, kind of cyberpunky. The battledroids unfortunately revert to their old military programming and start waging war against the students litterally
