Running out of things to download

Postby Blade Runner on Fri Jan 21, 2005 8:09 pm

I knew this would happen eventually but I have run out of things I want to download and finding myself downloading dross just to keep it going. Unfortunately BSG finale is on next week which leaves me with Enterprise, (Just cant believe how crap that is now) Stargate Sg-1 and Atlantis (Which only just makes the mark when compared to BSG). Even decent films seem to be very few and far between, especially these last few months. I tried Space above and beyond but even that seems crap.

Has anyone got any good recommendations of series or good films to watch?

prefer music to movies (arrives quicker) but also running out of things to DL. what do the rest of you listen to?

now that my broadband has been capped (15Gb) bit wary of grabbing movies as not sure what will happen if I blow my limit.

@blade runner - your Atlantis releases have been great, not too big, watchable and a nice gap inbetween to calm my paranoia about the cap. thanx

I had almost emptied my list, then I discorvered the 'classical' forums, and clicked about 100 films from there. Then I discovered the Blaxploitation collection at FH and added the ones I didn't have there.

Other then that you could always get Nowhere Man.
Ahh.. no offence, but you are a robot, aren't you?

recently i ran dry but thought i'd go for a few older shows,
Planet of the apes series 1-14
the time tunnel 1-30
seven days 3 series about 66 episodes
american gothic 20eps
Highlander 4 series
and a few others for the wife which i'll not mention for risk of losing credibility (if i had any to lose) :wacky:
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

well i got Horror, Movies, Scifi, TV series with the majority of stuff downloading.. of course there has to be a games one, the rest aren't as big but dumping stuff into different folders upon completing is coolness :)

Shame I've been running only torrent all week to get some stuff of their.

Getting Farscape: Peacekeeper wars DVDr to replace the shoddy TVrips (what was with them? Case of rushing releasing over getting it right methinks ;) )

I think its how you define 'decent' and 'new', especially since you mentioned Stargate Atlantis which imo, its a waste of money for the scifi channel, let alone time for a viewer. ;)

You can get the Farscape DVDr @ lokitorrents btw :)

The only decent stuff i have is:

Farscape
Babylon 5
FireFly
Crusade (OK)
UFO
Sapphire and Steel
Dead Zone
BSG
Stargate 1-5
Champions

I dont want any Star Trek except Voyager 4-7
Space above and Beyond is weak
